Wednesdays and Saturdays “Wine Tastings at the Marietta Wine Market” The Marietta Wine Market holds weekly Wine Tastings every Wednesday 5pm-7pm & Saturday 2pm-4pm. Each week we sponsor a different local charity and serve complimentary hors d’oeuvres. A $10 donation is suggested.
Wednesday’s “Mice Tours for Toddlers”(10:30am) at the Marietta Museum of History Museum” We invite our littlest friends ages 3 to 5 years old for our Museum Mice Tour offered the 2nd Wednesday each month. Preschoolers are led into a lifelong love of history with our award winning Mice Tours. Each month the tour focuses on a different theme, including colors, shapes, music, jobs and more! Thursdays “ Open Mic at The Strand” Whether you like to sing, play music, or just prefer to drink delicious cocktails while listening to great local acts, come by on Thursday nights to enjoy The Strand’s new Open Mic Night! Hosts Chad Yochum and Travis Cottle are regulars in the Marietta music scene and are excited to open up a new avenue for local musicians to play and connect. This is the only open mic night around that is set up with a warm studio sound. No plugging in. No sound-checking. Just play.
Live at Lumiere: Open Mic Night is always free entry and free to play. All artists will also have the opportunity to buy a CD of their recorded sets at $5 per song (original material only). The signature Lumiere beverage menu — including homemade Cola, Dr. Fizzywater’s Honey Tonic, and famous hot toddies — is available at the bar.

Fridays “Annual Marietta Square Art Walk” (5-9pm) Join us the first Friday of each month (March-November). Event-goers can expect local restaurants, boutiques, and galleries to offer extended evening hours for dining, shopping and entertainment. Art lovers enjoy an evening stroll through the charming streets of Marietta Square during this free, self-guided tour featuring local art and live music. Throughout the evening, artists display their works for sale along the sidewalks in front of participating boutiques, restaurants, and cultural organizations
Friday & Saturday Nights “Lumiere Lounge” (7-11pm) on the second floor at the Strand Theatre. The Strand has been proud to introduce the popular silent film inspired cocktail bar this fall and winter season. As you sink into a plush couch or join a friend at a café table, the modern world seems to drift away as classic silent films quietly flicker in the background while a live pianist plays. The Lumière Lounge features specialty cocktails made with local ‘Hometown Honey’ in addition to a full bar.The Lumière Lounge will be open this weekend with its much-lauded specialty cocktail menu and live pianist, creating a perfectly intimate setting for a date night cocktail. 21+.
Saturdays & Sundays “Marietta Square Farmers Market” located on the Historic Marietta Square. The market takes place every Saturday 9am – noon year round (rain or shine) and Sunday’s noon – 3pm, May through October. The farmers market has 60 plus vendors featuring home grown vegetables, cheese, bread, eggs, fresh flowers, local honey, baked goods, meat, mushrooms and milk every weekend.
