Theme: “Summer Sippers” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: This Saturday we have selected a handful of refreshing and crisp white wines and red wines perfect for those lazy Summer days. Stop in and taste your way through our selection of hand picked varietal wines from Spain, Italy, France and the U.S.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9th “Wine Tasting at the Marietta Wine Market” (5-7pm) Theme: “Wines From Germany & Austria ” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: are Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Grüner Veltliner, and others. Wines range from dry wines that go very well with food, to sweet wines that are the perfect end to a meal, or can be enjoyed on their own. There are also numerous red and dessert wines from this area of Europe. Our wine and food tour next April will be these two countries. Stop by and try out some outstanding wines and pick up some info on our next tour.

Theme: ” Wines From Sicily” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: Our International Wine & Cheese Club has been a big hit with our customers. This Saturday we will be featuring wines from Sicily. Just off the coast of Italy, Sicily is one of the oldest wine regions in the World. Old World grapes now made in a new World style. Stop by and sample a few gems that are now available in the Atlanta market.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16th “Wine Tasting at the Marietta Wine Market” (5-7pm) Theme: “A Tour Of The Andes” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: Chile and Argentina are two countries known fro producing exceptional wines that are not only pleasing, but easy on the wallet. This Wednesday we will offer for tasting some new wines from Tikal, Gougenheim, Filus, Leyendes and Primus Wineries.

Theme: ” Avant Partir Wines” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: On the 19th this month we will feature some new and exciting wines from Avant Partir Distributors. Avant specializes in small family run producers from all over The World.Stop in and enjoy some great wines along with a spread of chesses and appetizers
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23rd “Wine Tasting at the Marietta Wine Market” (5-7pm) Theme: “R & K Selections” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: Once a month Karen and I pick out a few of our favorite new wines and present them at one of our tastings. Stop by this Wednesday nd sample wines from South Africa, New Zealand, Germany and the U.S.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 26th “Wine Tasting at the Marietta Wine Market” (2-4pm)
Theme: ” Cline Family Winery” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: Since the early 70’s Fred Cline and his family have been producing award winning wines on their property in Sonoma. Wine is produced with out pesticides, harsh chemicals, and added sulfites. On Saturday we will sample wines from their Estate and Cashmere series wines.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30th “Wine Tasting at the Marietta Wine Market” (5-7pm) Theme: “Livermore Valley Wines” (Open to the Public) Cost: Charity Donation: Wine has been cultivated in Livermore since the 19th century, with the Cresta Blanca Winery (founded 1882) being one of the earliest, and well-respected, with its first vintage (1884) winning Grand Prix at the 1889 Paris Exposition, becoming the first California wine to win a competition in France. In the early 1960s, Livermore had as much area under vine as Napa Valley did at that time. However, it remained relatively unknown, while Napa rose to worldwide prominence. Wente and Muriettas Well are two of the areas best known producers. Wednesday we will sample wines from both wineries.
